Service Innovation Research Center

Working towards the improved productivity of the service and manufacturing industries through a scientific and engineering approach.

The service business occupies more than 70 % of GDP in Japan. Along with fostering experience and intuition, there is a new move to encourage service innovation in business using a scientific and engineering approach. We are improving business efficiency through added value and the creation of new businesses.
Through our involvement in substantial research in the service business, the Service Innovation Research Center is making observations and numerical analysis by collecting data in the field; then using simulation and modeling technologies applied to service process innovation. We aim to improve productivity in the service business through a scientific and engineering approach.
