Contributing to promoting unique research and solving various community-based problems

The Industrial Technology Research Institute, established in 1996 in the Faculty of Engineering to promote industry-government-academia collaboration and strengthen research functions, was reorganized and developed into the Kindai University Fundamental Technology for Next Generation Research Institute in 2010.
The role of this institute is to contribute to technological development to realize a sustainable society and technology development of the community by formulating a research plan based on a comprehensive survey on the next generation fundamental technology.

We organize " The Center for Industry and Public Relations" which is the window of industry-university collaboration and 7 research centers to promote research.

Kindai University is one of the largest private universities in Western Japan with 14 faculties and 48 departments. Kindai University Fundamental Technology for Next Generation Research Institute makes its research resources available to the public in collaboration with Kindai University Liaison Center.
